Privacy policy
We collect the minimum we need to send you a parcel and answer your questions: nothing more. This page explains exactly what that means at TSHandiHut.

What we collect
We hold only the information you give us, plus a small amount generated by using the site:
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password. We never store your password itself.
- Order details: shipping address, order contents, and the amount paid.
- Messages: anything you send through the contact form.
- Technical data: a session cookie, a cart cookie, and server logs containing IP addresses used for rate limiting and fraud prevention.
What we never collect
We do not store card numbers, CVV codes or bank details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own systems; we receive only a payment reference and whether it succeeded.
We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics profiling, or sell data to anyone.
How we use it
- To process, pack and deliver your order.
- To let you sign in and see your order history, saved addresses and wishlist.
- To reply to your messages.
- To send the newsletter, only if you asked for it: one click unsubscribes.
- To protect the store from abuse (rate limiting sign-in and checkout attempts).
Who else sees it
Only the services required to fulfil your order:
- Stripe, for card payments (they receive your email and order total).
- Our courier, for delivery (name, address and phone number).
- Our email provider, for order confirmations and password resets.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Contact messages are deleted after two years. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely. Write to hello@tshandihut.com and we will action it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, addresses and wishlist; order records are retained in anonymised form where the law requires.
